This last Sunday's Mother's Day was really special because it was the first time that James was really excited about what he had made that he wanted to give to me for Mother's Day. He had made it at school several months ago, and he told me that his teacher was making them wait to give it their moms until Mother's Day. So, when I picked him up from school, this past Friday, he was so excited about what he was carrying in this big paper bag. I promised that I wouldn't peak nor ask him what was inside it. I told him I couldn't wait until Sunday morning, and he told me he couldn't wait either!

Larry and James made a special dessert for our Mother's Day celebration- Strawberry Lemonade Cake. Johnny wasn't too keen on it- "It's gross" he said. James helped make it and he loved it. Me too!
Here is Larry, the man of my dreams, posing in a picture with me. (Thank goodness James takes good pictures for a 6 year old!) Larry makes every day "Mother's Day" in our lives together. How blessed I am!
