Our 1 year old

Our baby is 1 years old, now. Time has flown. We are so grateful to the Lord for blessing us with this beautiful boy. Affectionately known as "Johnny," we're just beginning to see how strong- willed and loving this boy truly is. He can say, "Mama," "Daddy," "Days" (for James), and several other approximations of words of foods that he loves to eat. His favorite toys are all of the balls that we have in the house. He can play rolly-polly with you, or he'll push a ball around the house and crawl after it. Although Johnny has only just completed the first year of his life, we feel the strength of his spirit in our home, and we're so excited to be a part of his life and help him continue to learn and grow into a wonderful person. Happy Birthday, Johnny! We love you!

Larry's surgery

Last Friday, Larry had surgery on a bilateral inguinal hernia. The surgery lasted an hour and was laproscopic. Thankfully, everything went smoothly and Larry was walking within a few hours. He's been resting at home this whole week. I agree with Larry's mom- he's an excellent patient! Very little complaining has come from him. Get well soon, Larry!

James learns to ride a bike!!!

James learned to ride his two-wheeler bike without training wheels the end of April! We took him to a park and then we went to the parking lot at the church where he practiced and practiced. He was able to learn in about two days! Now, he's on his bike almost every day!
Great riding, James!
